If upgraded with a Mastery Point, the healing from Solemnity is significantly increased.Darkest Dungeon x Reader (One-Shots, Headcanons & More) His wish in life is merely to destroy as many of the abominations roaming the land before he dies. The Leper has lived his life knowing the pain of disease and weakness, but has used this experience to become stronger than any other. Your party's Plague Doctor will certainly appreciate having fewer teammates to keep healthy. The Leper is a loner, and a warrior-poet, boasting the best independence of any of the adventurers in the Hamlet. While Solemnity always removes at least two points of Stress, it only heals the Leper if he has less than one-third of his hit points remaining. When the situation inevitably spirals out of control (this is Darkest Dungeon, after all) the Leper can use Solemnity to heal himself and remove Stress at the same time. ![]() However, it grants an increase to the Leper's Burn, Blight, and Bleed resistance, potentially preventing him from getting Ruin triggers. The Leper's other Taunt skill, Withstand, buffs the Leper rather than debuffing an enemy. This is fantastic against bosses but is useful in normal encounters as well. It also applies two stacks of Weakness to a target enemy, reducing the amount of damage it deals. Intimidate is used as a complement to Ruin it grants the Leper two stacks of Taunt, forcing enemies to attack him if he is a valid target. If you have other uses for that Mastery Point, you can use skills like the Occultist's Wyrd Reconstruction to apply Bleed to the Leper manually. This minor inconvenience ensures that the Leper will get his damage buff when his turn begins. You may even consider applying your initial Mastery Point to Ruin at the first Inn once upgraded, Ruin also afflicts the Leper with Bleed, dealing two damage to him at the start of his turn. Since he's spending all of his time in the first two ranks, this should trigger often. This skill grants the Leper a buff that increases his damage output by twenty percent each time he takes damage. Once Ruin is unlocked, it's a very good idea to have the Leper use it on his first turn and reap the benefits as early as possible. Ideally, you can find other ways to prevent or remove Blind so that the Leper doesn't have to spend a turn recovering, but it's important to have Reflection available as a last resort. It also provides a minor Stress reduction and removes any Combo tokens enemies may have placed on him. Reflection is critical for keeping the Leper in the fight, as it removes Blind. Better still, the attack's maximum base damage increases to an unbelievable 16, making it ideal for quickly whittling down bosses. ![]() If you use a Mastery Point to upgrade Chop, the likelihood that the Leper will suffer Blind after use is reduced.
